Uno sguardo al futuro: Phantom Darkness

Volevo farvi vedere cosa ci aspetta nei prossimi mesi... a Novembre come credo sappiate già tutti ormai, uscirà l'espansione "Assalto del Gladiatore (GLAS)", ma l'espansione che la seguirà, la PHANTOM DARKNESS (PTDN), si preannuncia già ora di essere sgravissima... la data di uscita stimata per l'occidente è fine febbraio 2008, e al momento si conoscono solo gli effetti di alcune carte, grazie alle riviste giapponesi... le rarità indicate sono le loro, da noi la UDE le stravolgerà tutte o quasi... ma non cambia il fatto che stanno per uscire delle carte che stravolgeranno il gioco... eccovele in anteprima:

PTDN-JP003 - Dark Rainbow Dragon [Ultra Rare]
Effect Monster (Dragon / DARK / 10 Stars / ATK 4000 / DEF 0)

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 7 DARK Monster Cards with different names from your Graveyard. You can remove from play all DARK monsters you control (except this card) and in your Graveyard to have this card gain 500 ATK for each card removed.


PTDN-JP006 - Yubel
Effect Monster (Fiend / DARK / 10 Stars / ATK 0 / DEF 0)

This card is not destroyed by battle. When this face-up Attack Position card is attacked by your opponent's monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the attacking monster. Any Battle Damage this card's controller takes from a battle involving this card becomes 0. During your End Phase, Tribute 1 monster you control. If you don't do this, destroy this card. When this card is destroyed by a card effect (except by its own effect) you can Special Summon 1 "Yubel - Das Abscheulich Ritter" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Yubel". This card is not destroyed by battle. When this face-up Attack Position card is attacked by your opponent's monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the attacking monster. Any Battle Damage this card's controller takes from a battle involving this card becomes 0. During your End Phase, destroy all monsters except this card. When this card is removed from the field, you can Special Summon 1 "Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.


PTDN-JP008 - Yubel - Das Extremer Traurig Drachen [Ultra Rare / Ghost Rare]
Effect Monster (Fiend / DARK / 12 Stars / ATK 0 / DEF 0)

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Yubel - Das Abscheulich Ritter". This card is not destroyed by battle. When this face-up Attack Position card battles an opponent's monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the opponent's monster at the end of the Damage Step, and destroy it. Any Battle Damage this card's controller takes from a battle involving this card becomes 0.


PTDN-JP018 - Dark Nephthys
Effect Monster (Winged Beast / DARK / 8 Stars / ATK 2400 / DEF 1600)

If there are 3 or more DARK monsters in your Graveyard, you can remove 2 of them from play to send this card from your hand to the Graveyard. If this card is sent to the Graveyard by this effect, Special Summon this card from the Graveyard during your next Standby Phase. When this card is Special Summoned, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.


PTDN-JP019 - Dark Armed Dragon [Rare]
Effect Monster (Dragon / DARK / 7 Stars / ATK 2800 / DEF 1000)

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except when there are 3 DARK Monsters in your Graveyard. You can remove 1 DARK Monster in your Graveyard from play to destroy 1 card on the field.

Normal Spell

Add 1 DARK monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Graveyard to your hand.


PTDN-JP0?? - Shuumatsu no Kishi (Knight of the End) [Rare]
Effect Monster (Warrior / DARK / 4 Stars / ATK 1400 / DEF 1200)

When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned, you can select 1 DARK monster from your Deck and send it to the Graveyard.


PTDN-JP044 - Rainbow Neos [Ultra Rare]
Fusion Monster (Warrior / LIGHT / 10 Stars / ATK 4500 / DEF 3000)

"Elemental Hero Neos" + 1 monster that includes "Rainbow Dragon" in its card name
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon, and only using the above Fusion Material monsters. Once per turn, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:
• Send 1 monster you control to the Graveyard to return all monsters your opponent controls to their owner's Deck;
• Send 1 Spell or Trap card you control to the Graveyard to return all Spell and Trap cards your opponent controls to their owner's Deck;
• Send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard to return all cards in your opponent's Graveyard to their owner's Deck.


PTDN-JP048 - Instant Neo Space
Equip Spell

Equip only to a Fusion Monster that lists "Elemental Hero Neos" as a Fusion Material. The Fusion Monster equipped with this card does not have to have its effect activated that returns it to the Fusion Deck during the End Phase. When the equipped monster is removed from the field, you can Special Summon 1 "Elemental Hero Neos" from your hand, Deck or Graveyard.


PTDN-JP045 - Rainbow Veil
Equip Spell

When the equipped monster battles with an opponent's monster, the effects of the opponent's monster are negated only during the Battle Phase.


PTDN-JP046 - Chouyuugou (Super Fusion)
Quick-Play Spell

Discard 1 card from your hand. Send Fusion Material monsters you or your opponent controls to the Graveyard that are listed on a Fusion Monster Card, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Fusion deck. When this card is activated, it is not possible to activate the effect of Spell , Trap or Effect monster cards (This Special Summon is treated as Fusion Summon)


PTDN-JP0?? - Magic Chronicle
Continuous Spell

Activate only by sending all cards in your hand to the Graveyard. Select 5 Spell or Trap Cards from your Deck and remove them from play. Each time your opponent activates a Spell Card, place 1 Chronicle Counter on this card. You can remove 2 Chronicle Counters from this card to have your opponent select 1 of the removed cards and add it to your hand. When this card is removed from the field, take 500 damage for each card that is removed from play by this effect.


PTDN-JP009 - Split D. (Demon) Rose
Effect Monster (Plant / DARK / 7 Stars / ATK 0 / DEF 1500)

When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 2 "D. Rose Tokens" (Plant-Type/DARK/Level 3/ATK 1200/DEF 1200) on your side of the field.


PTDN-JP004 - Sacrifice Lotus
Effect Monster (Plant / DARK / 1 Star / ATK 0 / DEF 0)

If this card is in your Graveyard during your End Phase and you control no Spell or Trap Cards, you can Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While this card is face-up on the field, the controller of this card takes 1000 damage during each of their Standby Phases.


PTDN-JP016 - Dark Horus Dragon [Ultra Rare]
Effect Monster (Dragon / DARK / 8 Stars / ATK 3000 / DEF 1800)

While this card is face-up on the field, when your opponent activates a Spell Card during their Main Phase, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 DARK monster from your Graveyard. This effect can only be activated once per turn.


PTDN-JP017 - Dark Creator [Rare]
Effect Monster (Thunder / DARK / 8 Stars / ATK 2300 / DEF 3000)

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except from your hand while you have 5 or more DARK monsters in your Graveyard and you control no monsters. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard.


PTDN-JP020 - Dark Crusader
Effect Monster (Warrior / DARK / 4 Stars / ATK 1600 / DEF 200)

You can send 1 DARK monster from your hand to the Graveyard to have this card gain 400 ATK.


PTDN-JP024 - Priestess Ohm
Effect Monster (Spellcaster / DARK / 4 Stars / ATK 1700 / DEF 1600)

You can Tribute 1 DARK monster you control to inflict 800 damage to your opponent.


PTDN-JP0?? - Owari no Hajimari (Beginning of the End)
Normal Spell

Activate only when you have 7 or more DARK monsters in your Graveyard. Remove from play 5 DARK monsters in your Graveyard, then draw 3 cards.




come si vede, in questa espansione ci saranno versioni "Dark" di mostri che già conosciamo... beh, che ve ne pare? =P e queste sono solo alcune delle 80 carte che compongono l'edizione giapponese dell'espansione...

Senz'altro l'espansione più sgrava dai tempi delle CRV... I mostri Dark veramente fantastici... Per non parlare del Rainbow Neos che sono convinto ci farà rispolverare la vecchia Polimerizzazione
