Ecco i rulings riguardanti il “Light and Darkness Dragon”:

• Can “Light and Darkness Dragon” negate Jinzo's effect?
Answer:
“Light and Darkness Dragon” cannot negate the Continous Effects of Monster Cards. These types of effects do not “activate” and do not use the Chain, so there is no opprotunity for “Light and Darkness Dragon” chain.

• Does “Light and Darkness Dragon” negate “Skill Drain”?
Answer:
If “Light and Darkness Dragon” is Summoned or flipped face-up while “Skill Drain” is active, “Light and Darkness Dragon’s” first effect will be negated. Its second effect will still activate whenever a Spell, Trap, or effect of an Effect Monster is activated, but the effect of “Light and Darkness Dragon” will be negated so the activation of the Spell, Trap, or effect of Effect Monster will not be negated and “Light and Darkness Dragon” will not lose ATK or DEF. Its third effect that activates when it is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard will not be negated because this effect activates and resolves while “Light and Darkness Dragon” is not on the field.

• Can “Light and Darkness Dragon” activate its effect multiple times in the same chain?
Answer:
“Light and Darkness Dragon’s” second effect can only activate once during the Chain. If a Spell, Trap, or effect of an Effect Monster is chained to the second effect of “Light and Darkness Dragon”, “Light and Darkness Dragon’s” second effect will not activate again in that same Chain.

• Can “Light and Darkness Dragon” activate its effect in the Damage Step?
Answer:
“Light and Darkness Dragon’s” second effect that negates the activation of Spell, Trap, and the effects of Effect Monsters is a Multi-Trigger Effect. “Light and Darkness Dragon” loses 500 ATK and DEF when its effect is resolved, after negating the activation of the Spell, Trap, or effect of the Effect Monster. This effect can be activated during the Damage Step.


• Does “Light and Darkness Dragon” negate effects that activate in the Graveyard?
Answer:
It will negate the effects of Effect Monsters that activate in the Graveyard, like “Sangan” or “Destiny Hero - Dasher”.


• Can a player activate “Treeborn Frog” 's Special Summon effect multiple times in the same Standby Phase to repeatedly weaken the “Light and Darkness Dragon”?
Answer:
When “Light and Darkness Dragon” negates the activation of a Spell, Trap, or effect of an Effect Monster that can only be activated once per turn (“Blowback Dragon”, etc.), the Spell, Trap, or effect of the Effect Monster cannot be activated again because the Spell, Trap, or effect of the Effect Monster is treated as having been activated during that turn. If the effect of the Effect Monster can be activated multiple times during the same turn (“Treeborn Frog”, etc.), the effect of the Effect Monster can be activated again.

“Light and Darkness Dragon” non può negare gli Effetti Continui dei Mostri perchè questi effetti non vanno mai in catena. Se “Light and Darkness Dragon” è Evocato o Scoperto quando “Risucchia Abilità” è attiva, il primo effetto di “Light and Darkness Dragon” sarà negato; il suo secondo effetto si attiverà ugualmente però sarà negato e non perderà ATK e DEF; il suo terzo effetto, che si attiva quando è distrutto e mandato al Cimitero, non sarà negato perchè si risolverà quando “Light and Darkness Dragon” non sarà più sul terreno. Altri rulings:

• This card's Multi-Trigger effect is Compulsory and can be activated during the Damage Step. The 500 point ATK/DEF reduction applies in the Chain itself.

• This card's effect is able to negate Trigger or Multi-Trigger effects as well, such as "Messenger of Hades - Gors" or "Kuriboh".

• This monster's Multi-Trigger effect can only be used once in a chain. Example:
Chain 1: "Confiscation" activates.

Chain 2: "Light and Darkness Dragon" effect activates.

Chain 3: "Mystical Space Typhoon" activates.
The effect of this card can only negate the effect of "Confiscation" and decrease the ATK & DEF of this card by 500, but "Mystical Space Typhoon"'s effect still resolves.

• This card's effect cannot be used against Continuous Spell/Continuous Trap Cards that are already on the field before this card is summoned.

• If this card's ATK or DEF cannot be reduced again (i.e. The ATK and/or DEF is less than 500), it's effect will not be activated.

• If your opponent activates "Call of the Haunted" and this card is on the field, this card will negate it's effect, and reduces the ATK/DEF of this card by 500. "Call of the Haunted's" effect will be negated and it will be sent to Graveyard.

• This card's Multi-Trigger Effect will not be negated even there are two copies of this card on the field. However, if one of the "Light and Darkness Dragons" is destroyed, it's Trigger Effect is negated by the other "Light and Darkness Dragon".

• When there are two of these cards on the field, both activate and form a chain according to SEGOC (Simultaneous Effects Go On Chain). The effect of the second copy will resolve without effect, since its effect needs to be chained directly to the effect. This also applies to Death Spirit Calibur Knight. Example:
Chain 1: "Confiscation" activates.

Chain 2: "Light and Darkness Dragon" effect activates.

Chain 3: "Light and Darkness Dragon" effect activates.
The "Light and Darkness Dragon" on Chain 3 will resolve without effect, because it was not chained directly to "Confiscation". It will not lose 500 ATK/DEF.

• When multiple effects activate simultaneously, "Light and Darkness Dragon" will attempt to negate the last one on the chain.
- Example 1:
"Light and Darkness Dragon" is Tribute Summoned using "Zolga" and "Sangan".
Chain 1: "Sangan" effect activates.

Chain 2: "Zolga" effect activates.

Chain 3: "Light and Darkness Dragon" effect activates.
In this situation, "Light and Darkness Dragon" will attempt to negate "Zolga"
- Example 2:
Chain 1: "Confiscation" activates.

Chain 2: "Light and Darkness Dragon" effect activates.

Chain 3: "Light and Darkness Dragon" effect activates.

Chain 4: "Death Spirit Calibur Knight" effect activates.

"Death Spirit Calibur Knight" will attempt to negate the effect of the "Light and Darkness Dragon" on Chain 3.
