Se dobbiamo essere fiscali ha cmq effetto altrimenti avrebbero dovuto dire "quando è evocata per scoperta" invece di "quando viene scoperta".
Come sapere anche se un mostro coperto subisce un attacco si scopre ma non è considerata un'evocazione.

E' vero che non è cmq una FLIP ma effetto normale.

Nel caso di Sfinge Guardiana che è effetto non FLIP ma si attiva quando appunto viene evocata per scoperta è però specificato :

"When this card is Flip Summoned, return all monsters on your opponent's side of the field to the owner's hand"

Mentre per il pinguino dice solo :

"When this card is flipped face-up, return 1 card on your opponent's side of the field to the owner's hand."

Quindi ANCHE se ti attaccano ha effetto.
