New Mechanics
Soulshift
Soulshift X (When this is put into a graveyard from play, you may return target spirit card with a converted mana cost X or less from your graveyard to your hand)
Similar to Mercenaries from Mercadian Masques, the difference is that it retrieves the weaker Spirits that your opponent has already destroyed back to you in the form of reinforcements. It can be believed that X is usually going to be X-1, where X is going to be the creature's converted mana cost.
Arcane Spells
Some sorceries, and instants are going to be listed as Arcane. These will have [Sorcery-Arcane] in the card type line. The fact that a card is Arcane or not is more of a flavor issue, although many cards will likely interact with this in some strange manner. However, this leads us to...
Splice with Arcane
At the time you play any arcane spell, you may pay a card's Splice with Arcane cost that is in your hand. If you do, that spell's effect imprints on to your spell as well.
Legendary Creatures
This causes a rule change, and several Onslaught cards are likely going to receive errata. The creature type Legend will cease to exist as of Champions of Kamigawa. They will instead be templated as a Legendary Creature.
Also the Legend rule has been rewritten. Here's what it is straight out of the Comprehensive Rulebook. Note: this change takes effect as of the set's release which is officially October 1, but this will be in effect for the pre-releases.
420.5e If two or more permanents with the same name have the supertype legendary, all are put into their owners’ graveyards. This is called the “legend rule.” If only one of those permanents is legendary, this rule doesn’t apply.
Split Creatures
These look simple, but are a logistical nightmare for judges, and players alike, as this has the greatest opportunity for cheating, even moreso than Morph. The jist of this is that a creautre starts top-side up, then if a certain condition is met, the creature becomes top-side down, and the bottom part of the card, which was upside-down, is now right-side up. This is referred to as "flipping" the creature.
The problem is there will no doubt be people arguing over the state of a particular card, especially the one that we know, which will usually be tapped when "flipped".
Finally as far as formatting they will read like this:

[CARDNAME ABILITIES]
[OTHER CARDNAME ABILITIES]
If there are linebreaks, these will be separated by a "/". This will also separate the creature types, and power/toughness.
Vigilance
This is just the long standing ability "Attacking does not cause this to tap." Finally in a keyworded form. Nothing else to see here.
Bushido
Will be writen as Bushido X, as X will be the amount this thing gets bigger in +X/+X when is blocks, or becomes blocked! Very powerful ability.
